Our home is very cozy. We have a play area where we can sit and play with toys and color. In the bedroom we can sit and read in the reading corner. Our living room has larger than life couches which is perfect to snuggle up in and watch our favorite Disney movies with popcorn and snacks. Our large dining room table is perfect for large family dinners and competitive games of monopoly.
Our home sits on a quiet street in Queens, NY. Within a 5 minute walk of our house is the beautiful NYC skyline. On hot summer days, we enjoy the breeze from the Long Island Sound and picnic on the grassy edges. The Queens County Farm Museum is a short 10 minute drive. We enjoy picking pumpkins, tulips, and sunflowers at the farm.
Our neighborhood is wonderful! It’s in an excellent school district and we can walk to three parks, with playgrounds and sports fields. A nearby preserve has a lake and tons of hiking and biking trails. We live at the center of our ‘Village’. Our families and ten other friend-families live within a one-mile radius, which leads to lots of impromptu get-togethers.
The community is very family-friendly. New York City is also a twenty minute train ride where we enjoy Broadway plays, foods from around the world, and the famous Rockefeller Center Christmas tree.
